What are spell creams?

Spell creams work exactly like any other magical potion.  They’re just richer, creamer, and meant for your skin.

You can make spell cream for any spell purpose.   We’ve shared spell cream recipes for abundance, fairy magic & psychic awareness, and to promote happiness.

So this Valentine’s day, we decided to whip up a love spell cream to celebrate the season of romance.

Whip up a batch of love spell cream and give your Valentine a little magical allure.

Meaning of the Ingredients

Concocting any potion begins with ingredients that make sense for your intention.  In this one, we included the following elements.

Rose

Rose—all parts of the plant, in any form—–is perhaps the most common and classic love spell ingredient.   Rose has many uses in spell craft, but here, we use it for its powerful association attraction, and romance.

This recipe specifically calls for rose absolute.

You certainly can use rose essential oil instead.  If you don’t mind paying around $300 an ounce.

But rose absolute is a great substitute.  It’s totally natural and the aroma is powerful enough to give your spell cream a lovely scent.

Coconut Oil

Check out this idea to use coconut oil in your magic.

We’re going to steep this potion in a base of coconut oil.  This tropical oil is a perfect complement to the other elements.  It is both vibrant with loving energy and an aromatic compliment to the other scents.

Vanilla

Vanilla’s ritual use extends all the way to the golden era of Aztec rule.

In its more modern magical usage, vanilla is prized for its association with love as a mystical force.  Its warm, glowing scent vibes with goddess-like allure.

But if you want to add it to your magical cabinet, rest assured, vanilla has many uses in spellcraft.

The essential oil of vanilla is, however, on the pricier side.  So if it’s out of your budget, feel free to skip it.
